Golang Job Details
New Relic is looking for a creative Lead Software Engineer to join our Container Fabric team. If you want to write the software that leads one of the largest and fastest-growing data platforms in the world, we’d love to hear from you!
The Container Fabric team is developing New Relic’s internal cloud computing platform using technologies like Kubernetes, CoreOS, Docker, AWS, and Azure. We’re looking for someone with a great foundation of programming skills who has built sophisticated applications in a team environment. You should have a curiosity about infrastructure, cloud platform technologies, and operations, though it's not vital to be a specialist.
Being on the Container Fabric Team means working with a group of hardworking, supportive and friendly people who hold a desire to deliver great service, implement highly reliable systems, automate regularly, and grow as engineers. If you get a kick out of delighting customers and helping other people, you’ll enjoy this job! If you have an eye for solving complex problems with easy to use tools, have designed solutions/processes and love a challenge, you’ll fit right in.
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
We're looking for bold and passionate people to be a part of our mission to help every engineer do their best work, every day, using data, not opinions, at every stage of the software lifecycle. We'd love to have you apply, even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement. What's most important to us is finding authentic and accountable people who feel connected to our mission and values, not just candidates who check off all the boxes.
We believe in empowering all Relics to achieve professional and business success through a workforce model called Flex First. The Flex First model allows us to work in a variety of workplaces that best support our success, including fully office-based, fully remote, or a combination of both.
